Fill It Up!!

As one of our various initiatives to reduce plastic pollution, Walmer Town Council has just installed a water refill station in Marine Road, opposite The Cedars GP Surgery. This location, with the permission of DDC, was chosen due to the proximity to both the beachside promenade and the newly installed Walmer Beach Gym delivered by WTC.

The refill station is free to use for all, giving everyone the means to fill up reusable water containers instead of buying single use plastic bottles. So, if you are walking, running or cycling along the seafront then remember that an easy water refill is just a few metres away.

“The water filling station is the next step in the Town Council’s campaign to reduce plastic pollution.
