Scotia Gas Networks - Temporary Road Closure - Gladstone Road & North Barrack Road, Walmer - 2nd November 2026 (Dover District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Scotia Gas Networks, it will be necessary to close part of Gladstone Road & North Barrack Road, Walmer, from 2nd November 2026 with estimated completion by 29th November 2026.

Closures will be imposed to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Gladstone Road will be closed at the junction of Blenheim Road.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Blenheim Road, Gilford Road, A258 Victoria Road, A258 The Strand, Canada Road, Gladstone Road and vice versa.

North Barrack Road will be closed at the junction of Gladstone Road.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via North Barrack Road, A258 The Strand, A258 Victoria Road, Gilford Road, Blenheim Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing gas works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Scotia Gas Networks.
