In 2025, the Climate Emergency Working Group began water testing at Walmer Beach, four times a year, a member of staff or a Councillor took two water samples which were then sent off for analysis. Since then several more tests have been taken, links can be found to the tests below.
Since posting the first tests, we have received queries regarding the results for the water testing results that we have been posting. To ensure that we have got the information correct, we have been in contact with those responsible for the testing and the results distributed. Information explaining the readings on the Water Testing Certificate will be posted with the original tests.
